First I met  Ann Kargus. We sat down and talk about her books. She even told me about a group on Facebook where I can meet other people like me(Colorist) and just meet up once a month and set down and color and talk for hours. I meet  Ann Kargus who wrote Route 66 Splendor Adult coloring book and St.Louis Splendor an Adult Coloring book. Plus she told me she is writing another book. But she wouldn’t tell . I will have to wait like everyone else. She even signed both of my books. I really enjoyed her.

Then I met Julie Dubrary and June Herman wrote and illustrated A Goodnight St.Louis Coloring book. The book is about many of St.Louis treasured landmarks and local places in St.Louis.I got a chance to talk to them.and  both signed my book. I enjoyed talking to them.

The I met Carol Swartout Klein and Robert O’neal. They wrote Painting for Peace a coloring book for all ages.Carol wrote the book. Robert illustrated. Plus they have did Painting for Peace in Ferguson Coloring book. Painting for Peace provides an outlet for creativity as you color. The drawings and share in a truly healing positive moments. Their  stories from several of original from artist their explanation of their art are included. There stories are touching, emotional and powerful. Carol wants to share the images then load it on the site on Facebook Painting for Peace. I enjoyed both of them and they signed my books.

Plus the two other books Colorful St.Louis book and Schlafly Coloring book. I don’t think they were their. I really enjoyed the event. There should be more events like this in our communities. Personally coloring and going on the groups on Facebook has help me with my mental and physical health. I get to talk to other  colorist and the people that run the groups. Plus I enjoyed talking to the artist and publishers. Then doing the challenges that these groups have. When you do your coloring and sharing with friends and others and they give you positive feed backs it really feels good and helps with your elements. I enjoy waking up every day knowing that there are groups like these.
