Here’s a fun project to do with your coloring pages. In this tutorial, we will be transferring a coloring page to a white dinner plate.
Step 1- Choose your coloring page. I have chosen a page that a mandala style so that it will fit nicely in the center of the plate. This page I am using can be found in my book For the LOVE of Coloring available on Amazon or as a PDF in my online SHOP.
Step 2 – Using a #2 Pencil , rub the back of the page to create a sort of carbon paper.
Step 3- Tape your page onto the plate and then using a pencil draw over the lines. Press hard but not too hard. You want the pencil lines to be on your plate when you remove the page.
Step 4 – Remove your coloring page once you have drawn over all the lines you want to transfer onto the plate.
Step 5 – Begin painting the areas on your plate. I have chosen to use red.
In this plate there are tiny bumps all around the plate. I have chosen to add red to these bumps to create dots.
Here is my finished piece.
